Dr. WANG Chicheng Jack

Founder, Executive Director, Chairman, CEO and CTO

Dr. Wang is our founder, Executive Director, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer.  He is primarily responsible for the overall strategic planning, business direction and management of our Group.

Dr. Wang has 20 years of medical device development and management experience.  Prior to founding the Company, Dr. Wang served various positions from September 2001 to July 2015, including vice president for R&D, chief operating officer and chief executive officer at Biosensors International Group, Ltd. (“Biosensors International”), a medical device company formerly listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange’s Mainboard.  Dr. Wang founded JW Medical Systems Ltd. (“JW Medical”) as chief executive officer in China in 2003, a medical device company focusing on coronary drug eluting stents (DES), which became a subsidiary of Biosensors International in 2007.  JW Medical has become the top three companies which focus on developing, manufacturing and commercializing biodegradable-polymer DES in China. In addition, Dr. Wang has 14 issued patents in the US.

Dr. Wang received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Tsinghua University in November 1982 and his PhD degree from Case Western Reserve University in May 1994.

Mr. MENG Chun

President and General Manager (China region)

Mr. Meng is our President and General Manager (China region).  He is primarily responsible for the operation of our Group in China.  Mr. Meng concurrently holds various positions at our subsidiaries, including serving as a general manager of HeMo China since August 2017 and a general manager at HeMo Jirui since May 2020.

Mr. Meng has over 20 years of experience in the medical industry. Prior to joining HeMo, he served as a vice president in Asahi Intecc Co., Ltd. from August 2016 to July 2019, where he was responsible for overall operations in China. From June 2007 to January 2015, he served as a vice president in JW Medical and was responsible for the overall and implementation of marketing strategy and execution of innovative sales plan.  Mr. Meng also previously served as a national sales manager at Boston Scientific.

Mr. Meng received his bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine from Capital Medical University (formerly known as Beijing Second Medical College) in August 1987. He also received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois in May 2003.

Mr. ZHANG Xinbo

Vice President and Production General Manager (Weihai operations)

Mr. Zhang is the Vice President and Production General Manager of our Weihai operations.  He is primarily responsible for production and quality functions of our factory in Weihai.

Mr. Zhang has over 20 years of management and operation experience in the medical industry. Prior to joining HeMo, Mr. Zhang served various roles including manager and director at JW Medical from August 2003 to July 2015.

Mr. Zhang received his bachelor’s degree in fermentation engineering from Tianjin University of Commerce in July 1996 and his master’s degree in pharmaceutical engineering in Shandong University in June 2011.  He also obtained the qualification of practicing pharmacist from Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and certified quality engineer from Shandong Provincial Personnel Department in October 2002 and June 2006, respectively.

Dr. XIN Yi

Vice President

Dr. Xin is our Vice President primarily responsible for the sales, marketing and clinical trial functions in HeMo China.

Dr. Xin has over 13 years of experience in international medical device companies.

From July 2006 to June 2011, Dr. Xin worked at Johnson and Johnson Medical Shanghai, Ltd.  She subsequently worked at BSC Int’l Medical Trade (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. from September 2012 to May 2013.  From June 2013 to September 2017, Dr. Xin worked at Covidien Healthcare International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ) as the marketing manager.  From February 2018 to November 2019, she worked at Braun Medical (Shanghai) International Trade Co., Ltd. as the neurosurgery marketing director.  From December 2019 to November 2020, she worked at KaVo Sybron Dental China  as marketing director.

Dr. Xin obtained a bachelor’s degree in medicine from China Medical University in July 2001.  She also obtained a doctoral degree in medicine with focus on pediatrics from Fudan University in June 2006.
